Join the Kelowna Rockets for a Gold Medal Ceremony prior to Wednesday’s opening face off against Dan Lambert and the Spokane Chiefs.

The ceremony prior to puck drop will be honouring Rockets Captain Cal Foote, and Rockets Assistant Captain/Team Canada Captain Dillon Dube for winning gold with Team Canada at the 2018 World Junior Hockey Championship in Buffalo, NY.

Dube had five points in the tournament(3G,2A) including the first goal in the gold medal game that Team Canada won 3-1 over Sweden. Foote finished the tournament with three assists but his tournament was highlighted by a diving goal-saving swat of the puck late in the game during their 4-2 win over Finland in round robin play. The medal is the 17th gold for Canada and first since 2015.

Puck drop on Wednesday is at 7:05pm.

Tickets are available for Rockets home games through selectyourtickets.com, at the Prospera Place box office or by phone at 250-762-5050.
