Rockets Move Forward With Goaltending Duo

The Kelowna Rockets are going ahead with two goaltenders, Brodan Salmond and James Porter.

On Tuesday the Rockets released goaltender Cody Porter outright. Kelowna also reassigned goaltender Roman Basran to the Okanagan Quad Rockets of the BCMML.

As of Tuesday players still competing for roster spots are:

Goalies – Brodan Salmond, James Porter

Defencemen – Gordie Ballhorn, Konrad Belcourt, Braydyn Chizen, Cal Foote, Kelvin Hair, James Hilsendager, Kaedan Korczak, Kyle Pow, Devante Stephens, Libor Zabransky

Forwards – Ted Brennan, Conner Bruggen-Cate, Jack Cowell, Dillon Dube, Nolan Foote, Erik Gardiner, Liam Kindree, Will Kushniryk, Kole Lind, Leif Mattson, Colum McGauley, Marek Skvrne, Tomas Soustal, Kyle Topping, Carsen Twarynski

You can catch this years Kelowna Rockets on September 22nd, 2017 when they open up the regular season at home in Prospera Place as they play host to the Kamloops Blazers. Puck drop is at 7:05pm. Tickets are on sale now!
