Bruce Hamilton – President & General Manager

When Bruce Hamilton moved the Tacoma Rockets to Kelowna in 1995 few could have predicted just how successful the Western Hockey League franchise would become.

The Rockets have skyrocketed since the move, attending four Memorial Cup championships and winning as host in 2004. The Rockets have one of the highest attendance averages in the entire WHL. Rockets home games have become the place to be in downtown Kelowna. Hamilton himself has climbed the ladder to not only lead the Rockets organization but to also be involved at the league level as WHL board chairman.

A Western Hockey League player, Hamilton has been involved in all facets of the game from a Scout to Player Personnel Director to now the Rockets President and General Manager.

Under Hamilton’s direction, the Rockets are committed to the development of its personnel both as players and people and the Rockets guiding principle is its rich tradition and alumni atmosphere.
