5th Annual Teddy Bear Toss

Marissa Baecker

Join the Kelowna Rockets on Saturday December 2, 2017 when they host the Kootenay Ice for their 5th annual Teddy Bear Toss!

Fans bring new teddy bears and when the Rockets score their first goal of the night, the fans let the teddy’s rain.

Each year, WHL teams come together to collect more than 50,000 items for local not-for-profit organizations throughout Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest U.S.

The Rockets donate the bears collected to the patients of the Kelowna General Hospital over the holidays.

Last season Rockets fans contributed to three full truck-loads of teddy bears that were all delivered to the K.G.H.

K.G.H. does a great job of sharing the bears with other agencies in Kelowna who distribute them to seniors homes, special needs facilities and more.

Come join the club in continuing a special tradition.

Puck drop is at 7:05pm.

Tickets are available for Rockets home games through, at the Prospera Place box office or by phone at 250-762-5050.
